Named for a type of duck, the Barbari dinner plate has a distinctive fluted edge that sits at just the perfect angle. Due to the firing temperatures and nature of the glaze, each plate is unique with slight color variations. In some cases, the red clay shows through the glaze at the edges, while some plates have a more solid coloration. Both variations are beautiful. This plate pairs with our Marumitsu Barbarie Dinner Plate.
